The city of Williamsburg had failing roadways in its historic area, so they partnered with Branscome to improve the safety and appearance of their roadways. We delivered safer, more attractive roads of brownstone asphalt and improved the drainage of rainwater on the main routes through the city. Dealing with the heavy automobile and pedestrian traffic around the job sites proved the biggest challenge, so our crews had to be alert to passing foot traffic at all times, and we had to carefully plan our traffic control. Branscome took so much care with their safety precautions that the City of Williamsburg took time to compliment them and praised their high-quality workmanship. Branscome is excited to have left behind great-looking roads and a satisfied customer in our nation’s first capital.
